Welcome to our journey

A love story crossing continents, rooted in family.

With grateful hearts and great excitement, we invite you to be part of one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives as we come home to Nairobi to celebrate love, tradition, and the joining of two families.

Our Love Story

From Montpellier, France, to Nairobi, Kenya

Ours began in Montpellier, France, in 2019. Two Kenyans, brought together away from home, discovered a connection that became friendship, partnership, and eventually a beautiful love story.

France became a special chapter in our lives. It was the place where we built memories, discovered new experiences, and created a home away from home.

In 2024, our greatest blessing arrived with the birth of our beautiful child. Becoming parents strengthened our love, deepened our commitment, and inspired us to continue building a family founded on love, respect, and shared values.

Coming Home to Celebrate

Honoring our heritage and bringing our families together

In August 2026, we will come together with our families in Nairobi, Kenya, to celebrate our traditional marriage ceremony.

This celebration is more than a ceremony. It is a homecoming, a reconnection, and a celebration of love, heritage, and the people who have shaped our journey.

Our story has taken us from Kenya to France and through many beautiful experiences, but our roots and family bonds remain at the heart of who we are.

Understanding the Kenyan Dowry Ceremony

A tradition of respect, gratitude, and family unity

Across many Kenyan communities, a dowry ceremony is a respected cultural tradition that celebrates the union of two families. It is not about buying a person. It is about honoring family, preserving cultural heritage, and creating a meaningful bond between two families.
